Over the past few months I’ve been on a journey to learn how to become a better artist and digital artist. I have been taking some courses with some fantastic teachers who are giving me “fresh eyes” and ways of seeing the world and expressing what I see. Scott Christensen has been one of them. Just amazing how he “sees the world” through landscape painting. Highly recommend his course (get details here). As part of discovering how he does it, I thought I would try and re-create one of my favorite paintings of his, though digitally. In the process of deconstructing and then constructing the painting I learned so much. Loving the joy in the journey. Above is the result.
